Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced AS/400 developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications. You will translate business requirements into software components, participate in Agile ceremonies, and deliver APIs across the full software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes mainframe and client-server knowledge, ability to estimate effort, code reviews, and collaboration with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

With at least 5 years hands-on programming in AS/400 (iSeries) environment.
Knowledgeable in OS/400 CL programming languages.
Experience modifying/creating Display and Report programs.
Be able to create SQL Scripts involving multiple tables and data manipulation.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and SNOW Tool is a plus.

Responsibilities

Builds, codes, tests, and maintains high quality software following standards.
Translates user requirements into software requirements.
Designs, develops, tests, maintains and improves application APIs across the SDLC.
Participates in Agile sprints and ceremonies; supports rapid iteration and development.
Researches technical strategies and new technologies to improve development efficiency.
