Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. seeks an experienced senior professional to lead AS400/RPG development efforts. You will architect, design, and guide teams to deliver robust RPG/AS400 programs aligned with banking and integration needs.

You will mentor developers, review code, optimize performance, and ensure production support across multiple projects. A strong background in system architecture and SDLC is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5–7 years of professional AS400/RPG development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing algorithms and developing RPG/AS400 programs.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and projects.
• Background in system architecture and solution design.
• Experience delivering end-to-end projects (design, develop, test, deploy).
• Hands-on with code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, architects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development best practices.
• Good communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Financial Core Banking processes is an advantage.
• Exposure to EFT and API integration is a plus.
