Job summary

HPL Game Design is seeking an experienced Art Director II to lead the overall art direction for Graphic Design and Ad Tech projects. You will ensure high-quality creative output, maintain brand consistency, and drive excellence in client work.

You will mentor Art Directors and QA staff, collaborate with leadership on R&D initiatives, and oversee workflows from concept to delivery across multiple accounts. The role reports administratively to Operations and liaises with COO and Chief Creative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Game Design, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in graphic design, ad tech creative production, or related fields.
• 3–5 years in an art director or senior leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, ad creatives, and digital production workflows.
• Deep understanding of ad tech platforms and cross-media design workflows.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing Art Directors and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and define the overall art direction for Graphic Design and Ad Tech projects across multiple client accounts.
• Ensure Ad Tech outputs—playable ads, eCommerce creatives, banners, videos, and interactive formats—meet platform specifications and performance goals.
• Provide hands-on creative input during concept development, design execution, and final delivery.
• Mentor and develop Art Directors and QA staff.
• Oversee operations, deliverables, and timelines across the project/team.
