Job summary

RED Engineering Design in Makati is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, revenue accruals, VAT compliance, and receivables monitoring in alignment with contracts and project milestones.

You will work with SAP and TEMIS to handle intercompany and local billing, support month-end close, and contribute to accurate financial reporting and internal controls across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting.
• Exposure to VAT, intercompany billing, and audit processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices for intercompany and local billings accurately and on time.
• Record accounts receivable transactions in SAP, including revenue postings, collections, credit notes, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with the Project Controller to validate actual billable amounts for local projects and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Apply customer payments accurately and perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AR aging review and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Record and monitor revenue accruals to ensure proper revenue cut-off and alignment with month-end and year-end reporting.
• Ensure compliance with ENGIE Group internal controls and documentation standards.
• Review VAT returns and coordinate with tax consultant for timely filing and compliance.
• Manage TEMIS or equivalent timesheet tools and generate relevant reports.
• Coordinate with requesting business/project team on billing, collection, and documentation matters.
• Support audit/regulatory requirements with AR, revenue, VAT, and timesheet schedules.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen AR, revenue, and reporting controls.
