Job summary

Viral Picks Corporation, operating under NarraTech Solutions, seeks a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and maintain secure Android mobile applications for POS and SoftPOS payment solutions.

You will own mobile payment implementations, configure EMV, integrate with backend APIs and third-party SDKs, and support PCI DSS compliance, certification testing, and production readiness. A fintech background and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Hands-on experience with POS or SoftPOS applications.
• Experience working with EMV-based payment systems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and secure API integration.
• Solid understanding of mobile security concepts (encryption, secure storage, certificate pinning).
• Experience supporting or participating in scheme certification testing.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin for POS, SoftPOS, and payment-enabled mobile solutions.
• Implement and manage EMV transaction flows, including AID configuration, TLV handling, and terminal parameter management.
• Integrate with backend APIs, payment gateways, acquirers, and third-party SDKs.
• Support scheme certification activities (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, BancNet), including test case execution and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, secure coding standards, and mobile security best practices.
• Troubleshoot transaction-related issues including declines, reversals, and communication failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (API Team, UI/UX designers, QA, Production Support Team, Security Team, Business Unit).
• Lead code reviews and enforce clean architecture and best practices (MVVM, modularization).
• Optimize performance, stability, and reliability of mobile payment applications.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Assist in developing Android applications using Kotlin under the guidance of senior developers.
• Provide technical support for integration or troubleshooting tasks when required.

Viral Picks Corporation \"NarraTech Solutions\" are looking for a Senior Android Developer with strong experience in payment systems, EMV transaction flows, and scheme certification processes. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure Android mobile applications, including POS and SoftPOS solutions.

You will take ownership of mobile payment implementations, including EMV configurations, API/SDK integrations, certification support, and secure transaction handling. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, security teams, acquirers, and external scheme partners to deliver compliant and production-ready payment solutions.

This role requires hands-on experience in fintech environments and a deep understanding of secure mobile development.
