Job summary

ATOMIT Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to build secure, high-performance fintech platforms and cloud-based applications used by thousands of users.

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based systems, lead microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience working in FinTech, payment systems, or cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure fintech and cloud apps using Java and modern frameworks.
• Build scalable microservices and APIs for payment platforms and transaction systems.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, PMs, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Optimize performance, stability, and security to meet high availability targets.
• Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and debugging for quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and Agile ceremonies.
