Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting in Ortigas, Pasig, Philippines seeks a Senior AI Engineer to build production AI agents and enhance platform capabilities. You will blend hands-on agent engineering with backend and platform development, translating customer needs into reliable agent behavior and scalable features.

Collaborate with customers, business analysts, QA and software engineers to implement end-to-end solutions, maintain APIs, and contribute to authentication, observability, testing, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• BS in CS, IT, eng or related field.
• 4+ years in software development or engineering.
• Experience with AI-driven projects and AI agents/LLMs is preferred.
• Strong API, backend, data integration, testing, and cloud experience.
• Hands-on production experience with AI agents/LLMs is preferred.
• Familiar with modern languages, frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents handling multi-turn interactions.
• Integrate agents with APIs, data sources, and identity systems.
• Develop backend services and data integrations for scalable platforms.
• Contribute to platform enhancements including security, observability.
• Implement automated tests across unit to end-to-end.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.
