Job summary

Cloud Bridge is seeking an experienced engineer to design and operate AI-assisted data solutions in a cloud-native environment in the Philippines. You will build scalable, event-driven services using AWS/Azure, craft robust data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers in AI-assisted development.

Strong Python skills and AI-enabled SDLC experience are required. The role emphasizes governance, performance tuning, and collaboration with risk stakeholders to deliver reliable, production-grade systems

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Python in production services or data engineering.
• Proven data pipeline experience: ingestion, transformation, orchestration.
• Serverless, event-driven solutions on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling.
• Familiar with CI/CD and IaC (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
• Proficiency in AI-enabled SDLC workflows and code generation.
• Strong communication and agile/teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners and risk stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-assisted solutions.
• Design and operate scalable data pipelines from real-time and batch sources.
• Build cloud-native, event-driven services using serverless compute and state machines.
• Write production-quality Python (and .NET where appropriate) with AI coding agents.
• Implement AI-augmented SDLC workflows for code generation, tests, and docs.
• Develop comprehensive automated test suites (unit, integration, contract).
• Define data models, API contracts, and integration patterns for distributed systems.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for deployment automation.
• Maintain living technical docs using AI tooling and ADRs.
• Mentor junior engineers in AI-assisted development and prompt engineering.
• Perform performance profiling and capacity planning for latency-sensitive workloads.
• Champion engineering standards and AI governance guardrails.
