Job summary

Axos Business Center is seeking a Cloud and AI Security Engineer to develop and implement a security framework for AI/ML platforms, LLM-powered applications, and the cloud infrastructure on which they run.

You will lead threat modeling, enforce guardrails, govern Retrieval-Augmented Generation security, and drive AI governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP, partnering with red teams, engineering, and compliance to reduce risk and scale trusted AI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of information security experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts including LLMs, embeddings, and RAG.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATLAS, OWASP LLM Top 10, and NIST AI RMF.
• Proficiency in Python; ML libraries exposure is a strong plus.
• Experience securing APIs, containerized workloads, and microservices in cloud environments.
• Understanding data privacy requirements in the context of AI training data (GDPR, CCPA).
• Strong written communication to translate AI security risks for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI/ML security framework across the full model lifecycle.
• Assess and mitigate AI-specific threats and enforce guardrails for deployments.
• Lead security reviews of LLM integrations and enforce guardrails.
• Implement and govern RAG security including data access controls and monitoring.
• Design security controls for AI agents and orchestration of tool usage.
• Develop cloud security baselines across AWS, Azure, and GCP for AI workloads.
• Perform threat modeling using MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Contribute to AI governance policy and regulatory alignment (SR 11-7, EU AI Act).
