Job summary

DysrupIT Pty is seeking a Senior AI Developer to build agentic solutions on Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) and a reusable framework. You will join a Melbourne-based AI consultancy delivering apps for clients across financial services, property, government and legal.

You will orchestrate agents, maintain a governed knowledge base, and integrate with Dataverse and Power Platform. Expect governance gates, audit trails, and production-grade evaluation in code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years building LLM-based apps.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, agents, and Azure AI Search.
• Strong Python and C#/.NET with testing, code review, Git and CI/CD.
• Production experience with agentic patterns, tool use and memory.
• Knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID).
• Experience applying guardrails and evaluation to AI systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-agent systems on Foundry Agent Service with orchestration and hand-offs.
• Build ingestion, indexing and retrieval pipeline on Azure AI Search with grounding and citations.
• Package reusable skills and tools for new agents to inherit capabilities.
• Use Dataverse as the system of record and surface agents in Copilot Studio and Teams.
• Implement governance: autonomy levels, human-in-the-loop approvals, and audit logging.
• Set up observability: tracing, evaluators, datasets, and red-team tests.
• Ensure security with Entra identity, Key Vault and private networking.
