Job summary

Insight Manila Location: 10F-11F Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605. The AI Architect will guide the AI Development team with architectural blueprints and standards for scalable, secure AI solutions across projects.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product Owners and Data Engineers, evaluate AI technologies, and advise leadership on strategic technology direction to ensure enterprise alignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of LLM-based architectures incl. prompt engineering & embeddings.
• Azure expertise (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, App Services, Entra); Vertex AI familiarity a plus.
• Experience with Databricks and data lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with JavaScript/React for full-stack context.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for AI apps.
• Design end-to-end architectures for AI initiatives, including data flows and security.
• Evaluate AI tech, frameworks, and cloud services for adoption.
• Conduct architectural reviews, design sessions, and code reviews for quality.
• Partner with Platform Engineers and DevOps to define infra requirements and IaC standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Mentor engineers to foster technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay current with emerging AI tech and advise leadership on direction.
