Job summary

Quora is a remote-first company where you will join the Ads ML team as a machine learning engineer focused on ranking and prediction quality. You will own problems end-to-end—from data pipelines and feature engineering to model training and production deployment, impacting ad relevance and revenue.

Work on CTR/CVR prediction, model calibration, and user/ad representations. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams, iterate quickly, and help scale ads ranking at Quora’s global

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development in ML.
• Hands-on experience deploying ads ranking models at scale (CTR/CVR).
• Experience with offline analysis and online experiments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve ads ranking models with feature interactions and user-history modeling.
• Own end-to-end ML systems from data pipelines to production deployment.
• Evaluate advances in deep learning to improve ranking within constraints.
• Collaborate with ML platform and product engineers to build scalable systems.
• Partner with teams to define ranking objectives and run A/B tests.
• Identify opportunities to apply ML to other parts of the Ads product.
