Job summary

NRI in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage timely collection and administration of customer receivables. You will allocate payments accurately, resolve account queries and support cash-flow objectives.

You will collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders, identify aged debt, maintain AR controls, and participate in month-end processes to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
• Experience with cash collection, disputes and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and take ownership of outstanding receivables.
• Proactively monitor overdue accounts to support cash collection targets.
• Process and allocate customer payments to the correct accounts.
• Investigate unapplied and incorrectly allocated payments.
• Handle customer account queries and discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reconciliations and maintain accurate AR balances.
• Maintain records of collection activities and commitments.
• Prepare and review aged receivables and AR reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain controls to support audit and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and reporting.
