Job summary

Abenson invites a Supervisory Accountant to join our Quezon City finance team. You will initiate and process journal entries across accounts, reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, and ensure fiscal integrity in line with applicable standards.

You will identify discrepancies, correct variances, and translate financial reports into actionable information for management decisions. You will provide leadership, guidance and performance feedback to develop a high-performing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any 4 years Management course.
• Candidates must be well organized and very keen on details.
• At least 2-3 years of Supervisorial experience.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and processes accurate journal entries into various accounts and reconciles sub-ledgers to the general ledger to ensure fiscal integrity and compliance with applicable standards and guidelines.
• Identifies discrepancies and takes appropriate action to correct variances.
• Provides support in translating financial reports to meaningful information to facilitate management decision making.
• Assists in providing leadership, counsel, motivation and constructive performance reviews to develop an effective, high performing accounting team.
