Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting activities, review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.

You will guide and train accounting staff, coordinate with auditors, and drive improvements in processes and internal controls, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Amenable to work in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily general accounting activities.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Monitor general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Review tax-related reports and filings.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation to accounting staff.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial concerns.
• Perform other supervisory accounting duties as assigned.
