Job summary

TWA, Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our finance team. You will maintain the general ledger, ensure accurate financial records, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Responsibilities include supervising accounting staff, overseeing AP and AR processes, budgeting and audits, and implementing internal controls while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS applications with good analytical and communication skills.
• SAP background is an advantage.
• Team player with ability to work with little supervision.
• Willing to extend hours and travel for fieldwork if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and complete financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support accounting staff, including review and validation of their work.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable process; provide assistance as needed.
• Oversee full accounts receivable process; provide assistance when necessary.
• Support preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support growth and planning.
• Help prepare documentation for external audits and ensure accuracy.
• Support implementation of internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and security.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports for management review.
• Help track and forecast cash flow to maintain stability.
• Review and reconcile accounts to address discrepancies.
• Collaborate with accounting team to improve processes and skills.
