Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Accounting Technology, or any related course.
• At least 2 years of work experience in accounting.
• Knows basic accounting rules and Philippine tax rules (BIR).
• Good at using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve daily accounting entries made by the staff.
• Make sure all bills (invoices) are sent to customers on time.
• Follow up on unpaid customer accounts and help collect payments.
• Check supplier bills and make sure payments are correct and on time.
• Do the monthly bank reconciliation (compare company records with bank records).
• Prepare monthly financial reports, like the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Help prepare and file taxes with the BIR on time.
• Keep all accounting files and documents neat, complete, and easy to find.
• Help check the payroll before it is released.
• Train, guide, and check the work of the accounting staff.
