Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Review general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting records.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and accounting reports.
• Review account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor proper recording of company transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies when necessary.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls.
• Review the work and performance of accounting staff.
• Assist management in financial analysis and decision-making.
• Monitor month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting documents.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
