Job summary

SMDC is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Pasay. The role requires a BS Accountancy, CPA preferred, and at least 3 years in general accounting. On-site work from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, MOA Pasay.

You will oversee monthly statements, bank reconciliations, tax returns, and finalizing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to government agencies while adhering to internal controls.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy or any major in Accounting courses.
• CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate release of monthly statements of accounts.
• Implementation of collection policy.
• Ensure collections are deposited intact within set cut-off.
• Monthly preparation of bank reconciliation.
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports including Balance Sheet, Collection Efficiency, Accounts Receivable Aging, Cash Position and Cash Flow.
• 100% filing of BIR returns and other government agencies requirements within deadline.
• Income Tax Returns, VAT Returns and Withholding Tax Returns.
• Assist in preparation and review of annual budget.
• Management of handled property expenses thru compliance with set procurement and disbursement process.
