Job summary

RRFMG Asia Pacific OPC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accountant to manage general accounting, balance sheets, and monthly close for multiple clients. You will ensure GAAP compliance, prepare financial statements, and support year-end processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in accounting, strong Excel/ERP skills, and English proficiency. The role requires onsite work at Abanao Square, Baguio City, with shifts overlapping US hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or higher in Accounting (CPA candidates allowed).
• 2 to 5+ years’ experience in a related position.
• Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred.
• Solid financial statement skills and understanding of GAAP.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills.
• Willing to adapt to non-traditional shift to overlap US hours (5am–2pm).
• Highly independent but a team player.
• Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.
• Willing to work onsite in Abanao Square, Baguio City.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial data and prepare weekly and month-end reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports according to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and modify accounting systems and procedures as needed.
• Provide input into department goal setting.
• Complete special projects as necessary.
• Multitask and manage several clients daily.
