A leading firm in finance is seeking a Senior Accountant in Tuguegarao City. The role requires a four-year degree in Accounting and 2 to 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities include general accounting functions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring GAAP compliance. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential, along with effective communication. Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years’ experience in a related position.
• Strong financial statement skills and understanding of GAAP.
• Willingness to adapt to non-traditional work shifts.
• Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred.
• Solid financial statement skills and GAAP knowledge.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills.
• Willing to adapt to non-traditional shift overlapping US hours – 5am to 2pm.
• Highly independent but a team player.
• Fluency in English – verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Analyze financial data; prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reports
• Prepare/review financial statements and report according to schedule
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Complete special projects as necessary
• Must be able to multitask and work on several clients in each given day

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or higher in Accounting
• Open to CPA and Non-CPA candidates
• 2 to 5+ years’ experience in a related position
• Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred
• Has solid financial statement skills and a clear understanding of GAAP
• Strong Excel and ERP skills
• Willing to adapt in a non-traditional work shift to overlap with the US side work hours – from 5am to 2pm
• Highly independent but a team player
• With strong communication skills and fluency in English – verbally and in writing
• Willing to work onsite in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
