Job summary

Sangoma Technologies Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the Philippine finance, treasury, and compliance functions.

The role involves hands-on management of statutory requirements, government filings, payroll coordination, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with the US Finance team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, a relevant degree, and a CPA license is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Current CPA license is highly preferred.
• Experience with PEZA, BIR, and government reporting is valued.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Finance and Treasury requirements for Philippine operations.
• Coordinate funding with the US Finance team.
• Review payroll and coordinate with the payroll provider to resolve discrepancies.
• Process statutory payments, government filings (BIR) and regulatory submissions.
• Manage business permits, licenses, registrations, and government compliance.
• Prepare and submit PEZA reports and coordinate Farm-In/Farm-Out permits.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and coordination.
• Maintain and update finance, statutory, regulatory, and corporate records.
