Job summary

A7 Recruitment Company in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Accountant with a BS Accountancy degree and CPA license, and at least 6 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and taxation. The role covers month-end close, treasury entries, and regulatory filings for the parent company.

The successful candidate will manage subsidiary ledgers, reconcile SL vs GL, record journal vouchers, and support budgeting processes while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting
• CPA Board Passer
• 6 years of experience in the same role
• Experience in general accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and accounting system management
• Experience in property management is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation and completeness of subsidiary ledgers
• Prepare and submit monthly reconciliation of SL vs GL
• Record treasury transactions including loans, interests, and money market placements
• Ensure complete and accurate entries for receipts and payments
• Prepare and record monthly accounting adjustments (journal vouchers)
• Review monthly bank reconciliation results
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial report package for the Parent Company
• Budget & Cost Management: validate purchase requests against budget and obtain approvals in Oracle; coordinate unbudgeted requests; evaluate department budgets; assist in annual and mid-year budget reports
• Regulatory Compliance: prepare requirements for business permits and renewal of certificate of registration
