Job summary

Sangoma Company seeks a hands-on Senior Finance resource for its Philippine operations, reporting to the US Finance team. You will oversee Finance, Treasury, statutory compliance, PEZA, banking, payroll, and administration, managing tasks from processing to completion.

The role requires coordinating with government agencies, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and supporting audits. A CPA is preferred, with 5+ years in accounting and a strong grasp of local regulations, within a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Current CPA license is highly preferred.
• Experience with PEZA, BIR, business permits, and government reporting is highly preferred.
• Experience reviewing payroll and working with payroll providers.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX requirements is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Hybrid work arrangement with scheduled on-site work as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Finance and Treasury requirements for Philippine operations.
• Coordinate funding and financial matters with the US Finance team.
• Review payroll and coordinate with payroll provider to resolve discrepancies.
• Review monthly payroll and final pay computations.
• Process statutory payments and government filings (BIR, PEZA, etc.).
• Maintain licenses, registrations, and government compliance.
• Prepare PEZA reports and coordinate permits.
• Manage banking administration and SOX reporting.
• Coordinate check releases and bank-related processes.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
