Equinix is the world’s digital infrastructure company, powering connectivity and innovation across APAC. The Senior Accountant (Statutory Reporting) role sits in Corporate Controlling and leads statutory accounting, audits, and financial controls for APAC legal entities.

You will coordinate statutory accounts, audits, and local GAAP compliance, bridge US GAAP to local standards, and partner with GL, Revenue, and Tax teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in audit and accounting preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP/Local statutory audits or multi-country statutory reporting for a US-listed corporation.
• Experience in accounting operations with strong background in multi-country statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, plus familiarity with regional local GAAPs.
• Public accounting firm background is highly preferred.
• Exposure to large multinational organizations and acquisitions is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements with notes for statutory filings under GAAP.
• Manage reorganizations, M&A, and legal entity formation per local GAAP.
• Bridge US GAAP to Local GAAP across GL, Revenue, Leasing, and FA teams.
• Provide review comments to Accountants and ensure timely corrections.
• Prepare year-over-year analysis for local GAAP statements and explain major differences.
• Review local GAAP trial balances before submission to auditors.
• Assist in preparing disclosure schedules for local GAAP financials.
• Support local GAAP and Tax audits, coordinating adjustments and documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of local GAAP requests and maintain procedures.
• Track KPIs like late submissions and other metrics.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
