Job summary

ACCIONA Energía in the Philippines seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury management, and tax compliance, ensuring accurate records and timely closes in line with PFRS/IFRS.

This role requires SAP ERP expertise, strong analytical skills, and leadership to mentor junior staff while collaborating with banks, auditors, and management to drive finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA qualification is highly preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in Philippine corporate accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP and IFRS/PFRS.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
• Monitor investments and prepare portfolio reports.
• Ensure tax compliance and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Operate SAP FI, GL, and Treasury modules; support system enhancements.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff; collaborate with stakeholders.
