Job summary

Trail'd is seeking an Accountant in a high-growth SaaS environment, responsible for keeping month-end close accurate, substantiated, and audit-ready. You will own fixed assets, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations, and revenue entries in Xero while supporting AP/AR and billing as needed.

The role emphasizes ownership of schedules, strong Xero proficiency, and adaptability across technical accounting and high-volume transactional work in a global growth context.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on accounting in a SaaS or multi-entity business.
• Experience maintaining fixed asset register and prepayments schedule.
• Strong fundamentals: journal entries, balance substantiation and explanations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register in Xero with cost, depreciation, disposals and approvals.
• Reconcile fixed asset register to general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Own prepayments schedule end-to-end and amortise per agreement.
• Prepare and post intercompany transactions across Traild entities monthly; manage FX journals.
• Post subscription revenue entries per revenue policy and period.
• Post routine journals including accruals with supporting docs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain schedules and docs for audit readiness and finance review.
• Flag unusual transactions before they impact monthly reporting.
