Job summary

Technology Elite, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations in Clark Pampanga onsite. The role covers GL, AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and disbursements, with responsibility for month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will lead financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and controls, ensuring compliance with local tax rules and company policies. Strong ownership and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience in the Philippines.
• Strong experience in GL, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Background in financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of audit, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Accounting & Financial Reporting: Manage GL, AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and disbursements; prepare journal entries and financial statements; lead month-end and year-end closing.
• Payroll & Financial Operations: Manage payroll processing, salaries, allowances, taxes; oversee vendor payments and disbursements.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow; prepare budget vs actual and variance analysis; provide insights.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement controls; ensure tax compliance and policies; support audits and address findings.
• Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management: Improve workflows; coordinate with management and departments; guide accounting team.

Work Arrangement: Onsite in Technology Elite, Clark Pampanga

Work Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM till 4:00 PM PHT

About the Role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's end-to-end accounting operations, including general accounting, AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, disbursements, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The role also oversees financial analysis, internal controls, compliance, and process improvement. The successful candidate will monitor financial performance, analyze variances, identify risks, and provide insights to support management decisions.

We are looking for a hands‑on, analytical, and detail‑oriented professional with strong accounting expertise, sound judgment, and a high level of ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and disbursements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure accurate and timely reporting.

2. Payroll & Financial Operations

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salaries, allowances, incentives, deductions, and final pay.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and remittance of statutory contributions and taxes.
• Oversee billing, vendor payments, reimbursements, and other disbursements.
• Ensure proper documentation, approval, and recording of financial transactions.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial performance, revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
• Prepare budget-versus-actual and variance analysis.
• Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Provide management with financial insights and recommendations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance

• Implement and monitor financial controls across accounting and payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Identify control gaps and financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.

5. Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management

• Improve accounting workflows, reporting processes, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to resolve financial issues.
• Take ownership of complex accounting matters and drive practical solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting team members as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Philippine's end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong experience in GL, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Background in financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of audit, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting, ERP, and payroll systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, accountability, and ownership.
