Job summary

Manpower (Philippines) is seeking a Senior Accountant for General Ledger/Record to Report to manage GL activities and month-end closing. The role requires strong SAP experience and 5–8 years in R2R, with supervisory exposure and IFRS/US GAAP knowledge.

The position is hybrid, with 4 days onsite per month, offering a monthly salary up to ₱66,000, plus allowances and benefits. Shifts include mid and night options to accommodate business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license is an advantage.
• 5–8 years of relevant Record-to-Report (R2R) experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in R2R.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP.
• Strong experience in GL, intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations, consolidation.
• Experience in Shared Services/GBS/BPO or multinational environments.
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP or local standards.

Work Setup: Hybrid — 4 days onsite per month

Salary: Up to ₱66,000 per month

• Mid Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM


• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, allocations, and month-end closing.


• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany balances, and fixed asset transactions.


• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet reports.


• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.


• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.


• Collaborate with stakeholders and auditors to resolve accounting and reporting issues.


• Identify process improvements and support process transitions and migration initiatives.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; experience with SAP FI, BlackLine, Power Query, pivot tables, VBA, or macros is an advantage.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.


• Willingness to work mid shift or night shift and support month-end closing requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary of up to ₱66,000 per month
