Job summary

Thrivemodal seeks a Senior Accountant in the Philippines to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with US GAAP, and support reporting, payroll, audits, and compliance requirements. The role covers reconciliations, journal entries, asset monitoring, invoicing, vendor payments, and financial reporting, while driving process improvements and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• CPA, with a degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GL accounting (AP, AR, reconciliations, close processes).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Maintain general ledger and accurate postings
• Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and journal entries
• Support month-end/year-end close and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP
• Contribute to budgets, audits, and tax documentation
• Monitor assets, depreciation, and lapsing schedules
• Process customer invoices, manage AR collections, and vendor payments
• Handle Philippine payroll and statutory compliance
• Identify and implement workflow improvements
