Job summary

TeamUp is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time independent contractor role, remote from the Philippines. You will own the full month-end close for U.S. client accounts, deliver client-ready financials, and communicate directly with clients.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflows, ownership, and long-term growth within a growing firm. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in U.S. accounting, strong FP&A, and deep knowledge of US GAAP, with exceptional English communication and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of full-cycle experience in a U.S. accounting firm (multi-client environment).
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for decisions.
• Strong English communication and client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience recording Loom walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasts and management reporting for clients.
• Own full month-end close, reconciliations and journal entries for client accounts.
• Set up payroll and payables using appropriate platforms and manage accounts payable.
• Communicate with clients directly via email and calls; deliver client-ready financials.
• Own processes, drive automation and improvements with founders during onboarding.
