Job summary

OSW Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant/ Credit Controller to join our growing finance team. You will keep books accurate, manage stock, assess customer credit, and ensure tax filings comply with PH rules, collaborating with group finance and local sales.

You will handle inventory and cost accounting, credit assessments, cash flow forecasts, and PH tax filings. The role requires strong Excel, ERP experience and excellent English communication; independence and a growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years accounting experience in distribution, trading or import business in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR filings (VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
• Experience in inventory and import accounting (landed costs, customs duties, import VAT).
• Familiar with PFRS, SEC reporting and external audit.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ERP systems (SAP B1, NetSuite, Oracle, Xero or QuickBooks).
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to negotiate with customers.
• Independent and organized; growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory accounting: stock counts, costing, landed costs and provisions.
• Assess credit applications, set terms and manage aging to reduce DSO.
• Prepare journal entries, month-end and year-end close with reconciliations.
• Maintain GL and intercompany reconciliations; prepare group reports.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and foreign-currency transactions.
• Support tax compliance, BIR filings and audits.
