Job summary

HLH Consulting Group in Pasig is seeking a Senior Accountant – CPA to manage the full accounting cycle, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves monthly and annual closings, reconciliations, journal entry reviews, budgeting and forecasting, and tax preparation.

You will coordinate with external auditors and support process improvements in financial management.

Qualifications

• Full cycle accounting including general ledger, closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Tax preparation and planning experience.
• CPA license with public or corporate accounting expertise.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Role Description

The Senior Accountant – CPA will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting, including general ledger maintenance, preparation and review of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing monthly and annual closing activities, performing reconciliations, reviewing journal entries, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role will also involve tax preparation, assisting with tax planning, and coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Pasig, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients, provide guidance to junior staff, and contribute to process improvements and best practices in financial management.

Qualifications

• Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including experience with general ledger accounting and financial analysis
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements in accordance with relevant standards
• Hands-on experience in Tax Preparation and familiarity with applicable tax laws and regulations
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and demonstrated expertise in public or corporate accounting
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role is preferred
