GMO GlobalSign, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the finance team's day-to-day tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role requires a CPA, a degree in Accountancy, and at least 5 years of multinational accounting experience, including cash management, payroll, tax, and consolidation.

Strong English skills and SOX knowledge are essential. You'll liaise with the Japan head office and Singapore parent for consolidation to a listed company, while maintaining

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA required.
• Strong knowledge of foreign currency transactions.
• Minimum 5 years in overall financial accounting, ideally in a multinational or PEZA-registered company.
• At least 3 years in cash management, payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge in consolidation accounting.
• Strong knowledge in internal controls or SOX.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior Accountant is responsible for execution of following department tasks by organizing the team.

• Handles Bookkeeping.




• Ensure accurate Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly financial statement reporting.




• Ensures Proper management of Cash/Bank account and timely payments.




• Manage and maintain proper cash balance.




• Completes Payroll calculation based on schedule and related legal/tax filings.




• Accurate corporate tax computation (with external firm assistance as needed).




• Accurate and on time filing of the expanded withholding tax and other related legal/tax filings.




• Liaisons with Japan head quarter and the parent company in Singapore for consolidation to a listed company.




• Management of Accounts Payables and related tasks.




• Management of Accounts Receivables and related tasks.




• Management of accurate Fixed Asset ledger and related legal filings.




• Maintains an organized and secure filing system for all Accounting/Finance related files to ensure internal and government compliance as well as easy traceability and retrieval.




• Reporting of the Company financials to the Company management.




• Ensure finance related legal compliance.




• Ensure auditable internal control related to finance operations




• Matters related to tax inspection and queries




• Performs other general accounting related duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably in Accountancy or any similar field. CPA holder is a must.




• Must have a strong knowledge of foreign currency transactions.




• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in overall financial accounting, preferably with a multinational or PEZA registered company.




• Must have at least 3 years work experience in cash management, payroll processing and tax compliance.




• Strong knowledge in consolidation accounting.




• Strong knowledge in internal control or Sarbanes-Oxley act.




• Excellent English communication and writing skills.




• Strong Attention to details.




• Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.
