Job summary

iSupport Worldwide in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close activities, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This role offers growth in a fast-paced shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience managing month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/Payroll/Operations teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while partnering with cross-functional teams.

What Is Your Mission?

You will provide exceptional service to our partner brands by:

• Managing month-end and year-end close activities
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyzing financial results and providing variance explanations
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assisting with audit preparation and external audit requirements
• Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Reviewing accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Partnering with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Operations teams
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and internal control enhancements
• Performing ad hoc financial analysis and special projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience managing month-end close processes
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
