Job summary

Fidelis Information Technology Corp in Cavite is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily transactions, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support cash flow reconciliation.

You will prepare monthly and annual reports, ensure compliance with local regulations, assist with tax calculations and audits, and help establish accounting SOPs during the startup phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance and tax, capable of handling daily operations independently.
• Understanding of local regulations and requirements by supervisory bodies.
• English working proficiency.
• Self-driven with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of daily business transactions data and bookkeeping them well.
• Verify cash inflows and outflows and reconcile with bank statements to prevent errors or fraud.
• Classify expenses under the correct accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare, verify and ensure the correct calculation and payment for taxes; handle tax refund issues.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports in accordance with local regulations and requirements.
• Compliance checks: ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• All processes for auditing.
• Support on establishing the accounting SOPs during startup period.
• Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Company and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Well understanding of local regulations and best practice required by the supervisory bodies.
