Job summary

Coins Philippines seeks an Account Management & Business Development professional to grow merchant partnerships and drive transaction growth. You will nurture key accounts, tailor payment solutions, and lead onboarding initiatives across multiple regions while collaborating with product, marketing, and operations.

With 3–5 years in BD and account management, you will build relationships with executives to align strategic goals, negotiate terms, and help Coins expand its footprint in the APAC

What You'll Do

Account Management & Business Development

• Manage and grow key merchant accounts by providing tailored payment solutions that drive transaction growth, retention, and satisfaction
• Identify, approach, and onboard new strategic merchants across various industries in Cebu and Davao
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, ensuring alignment between partner objectives and Coins’ business goals
• Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), commercial terms, and partnership agreements to achieve win-win outcomes
• Lead regular business reviews to assess performance, resolve issues, and uncover new partnership opportunities

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Plan and lead partner conventions, financial literacy sessions, and trade activations to strengthen brand presence and engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, tech, operations, and marketing) to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and campaign execution
• Execute regional and nationwide marketing and partnership initiatives to drive visibility, transaction volume, and merchant engagement
• Support the development and implementation of growth strategies that enhance Coins’ market position in the payments and fintech sector

Business Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor and analyze account performance, transaction trends, and portfolio growth
• Deliver actionable market insights and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making
• Track industry developments, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and risks

What We Expect From You

• With 3-5 years of experience in business development and account management in different industries.
• Proven track record of generating leads and supporting client acquisition efforts
• Good knowledge and client relationships of fiat payment networks in all industries.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Results-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships, with a strong focus on customer service
• High attention to detail and a collaborative team player
• Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
• Ability to speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
