Job summary

VML South Africa is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead strategy and development for key accounts in the Makati area. You will identify effective marketing channels, shape marketing and communications plans, and align client objectives with agency capabilities.

You will supervise budgets, forecast performance and mentor the account team while coordinating cross‑functional efforts across production, media, and research to deliver measurable marketing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of advertising experience with at least 2 years of account management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong qualitative and quantitative analytical understanding.
• Good leadership skills and an appreciation for collaborative teamwork.
• Knowledge of all agency functional areas, including production, media, research and database management.
• Strong analytics background with the ability to translate customer insights derived from data into actionable marketing outputs.
