Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled 2D Character Artist to conceptualize and render character designs, turnarounds, and expression sheets from creative briefs. You will ensure artwork matches the project’s style and participate in review stages to refine assets.

The role requires collaboration with the illustration, creative, and marketing teams, and is centered on maintaining a cohesive visual style across the game. Strong English communication and a keen eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio required with character designs, background designs, and graphic design work.
• Education: High School Diploma or higher in Art/Design/Creative fields.
• Proficient with visual editing tools: Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint.
• Attention to detail in artwork and animation pipelines.

• Communicate with creative department and marketing team

Requirements

• An online portfolio is required to showcase the work before being considered for an interview. Include character designs, background designs, Graphic Designs. Please indicate the link on your resume.
• At least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/ College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia
• Background and experience in visual editing tools such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint
• Keen in detail
• Communicate and work effectively in English
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
• 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D Character Artist in game development, digital media, or a related creative industry.
