Job summary

Kooapps Philippines is seeking a skilled 2D Character Artist to turn briefs into polished character designs, turnarounds, and expression sheets. You will collaborate with the illustration team to ensure a consistent style across our game projects and align with the creative department and marketing.

The role requires a portfolio featuring character and background design, proficiency in Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, keen attention to detail, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Online portfolio showcasing character designs, background designs, and graphic design work.
• At least a high school diploma or recognized equivalency in art/design.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.
• Detail-oriented and able to communicate in English.
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City, Monday to Saturday.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 2D character artist in games or digital media.

Requirements

• An online portfolio is required to showcase the work before being considered for an interview. Include character designs, background designs, Graphic Designs. Please indicate the link on your resume.
• At least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/ College Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia
• Background and experience in visual editing tools such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint
• Keen in detail
• Communicate and work effectively in English
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
• 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D Character Artist in game development, digital media, or a related creative industry.
