Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Security and Market Safety Sr Specialist to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Security, Market Safety, and Fleet Safety programs at a Batangas site. You will protect people, assets, and operations, ensure PMI standards compliance, and collaborate with local authorities while coordinating audits, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness plans.

This role requires Tanauan, Batangas work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Certified Security Professional and SO2 certification required.
• Additional safety, security, or environmental certifications are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Security, Market Safety, Fleet Safety, or related functions.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing/logistics implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 preferred.
• Proven track record managing stakeholders, audits, and risk mitigation programs.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Security and Market Safety Sr Specialist, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Security, Market Safety, and Fleet Safety programs within an assigned manufacturing site. You will help protect people, operations, assets, and the environment while ensuring compliance with PMI standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Security, Market Safety, and Fleet Safety management systems.
• Identify safety, security, environmental, and operational risks and establish appropriate controls.
• Support compliance with DOLE, DENR, and other applicable regulations, including environmental monitoring activities.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
• Prepare procedures, compliance actions, and audit requirements.
• Lead workplace safety audits and monitor action plans.

Site Security Responsibilities

• Manage site security programs, including access control, perimeter protection, CCTV monitoring, visitor and contractor management, key control, vehicle control, and guard force governance.
• Oversee guard force deployment, training, performance, and incident readiness.
• Conduct security risk assessments across production, warehouse, utility, parking, and other critical areas.
• Implement mitigation measures to address security vulnerabilities and operational risks.
• Protect employees, visitors, contractors, finished goods, materials, equipment, confidential information, and other business-critical assets.
• Support investigations through proper escalation, documentation, evidence preservation, and corrective actions.
• Promote security awareness through briefings, toolbox talks, drills, and guidance.
• Lead security audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Oversee security systems and equipment, including CCTV, alarms, access control systems, radios, barriers, locks, keys, and related tools.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, local government units, emergency responders, and security agencies as necessary.
• Perform other duties assigned by management in support of Security and Market Safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certified Security Professional and Safety Officer 2 (SO2) certification required.
• Additional safety, security, or environmental certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Security, Market Safety, Fleet Safety, or related functions.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is preferred.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders, leading service providers, handling incidents, supporting audits, and implementing risk mitigation programs.
• Strong judgment, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to work in Tanauan, Batangas and travel or relocate as required.
