• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent and deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity. This includes conducting regular rounds, observing suspicious activity, and responding to alarms.
• Control access to and from the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry. This may involve checking identification, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring surveillance systems.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure the safety and security of personnel and property. This includes interacting with visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Possess a valid security guard license or certification as required by the state or local jurisdiction.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent and may require additional training or certifications in areas such as first aid, CPR, and fire safety.
• Be able to physically perform the duties of the job, which may include standing or walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and responding to emergencies.
