Job summary

Google Operations Center in the Philippines is seeking a Security Engineer Lead - Safe Browsing to safeguard users and data at scale. You will lead a team, drive threat detection, and optimize enforcement systems while collaborating across product and security teams.

You will analyze phishing and malware trends, influence risk decisions with data, and communicate complex concepts clearly to engineers, partners, and webmasters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in security operations, web security analysis, or related analytical roles.
• Proficient in querying large datasets with SQL and data-focused programming (Python).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of tech process analysts and specialists.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to balance workload.
• Monitor SLAs and address risk/issues in workflow management.
• Develop deep knowledge of process flows and identify improvements.
• Perform technical audits of code changes by L3/L4.
• Create complex data analyses to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct static/dynamic analysis of phishing, malware, and related threats.
• Guide security operations to scale protection across products.
