Job summary

The Security Engineer Lead will drive Safe Browsing and threat detection efforts, build coverage, and improve user trust through effective collaboration with webmasters, users, and partners.

You will become an expert in phishing and malware, guiding the team to detect and prevent abuses at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years in security operations or web security analysis.
• Strong SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Knowledge of phishing/malware and web threats.
• 2+ years in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security process analysts and specialists.
• Coordinate workload distribution and staff development.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams about risks and workflows.
• Monitor SLAs and discuss issues with workflow management.
• Develop understanding of processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform technical audits of code changes by L3/L4 analysts.
• Analyze data to identify harmful entities and system vulnerabilities.
• Conduct static and dynamic analysis of threats on websites.
