Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd. is seeking an Information Security Engineer to scale and mature our security program in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

The role focuses on IAM, endpoint security, SaaS security, and security operations enablement. The ideal candidate is hands-on, automation-minded, and collaborates across IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, HR, and Compliance teams to improve controls while maintaining a strong employee experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in information security or related fields.
• Experience administering identity providers and access management.
• Experience with endpoint management/tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, MFA, RBAC.
• Experience in cloud-first environments using SaaS platforms.
• Scripting or automation in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Ability to balance security with usability and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IAM controls across applications and infrastructure.
• Manage SSO, MFA, lifecycle management and privileged access workflows.
• Support security monitoring, detections, and incident response.
• Build automation and integrations to improve security ops efficiency.
• Contribute to security programs and risk assessments.
