Job summary

Paynamics Technologies Inc. in Makati City is seeking a Security DevOps Engineer to strengthen our cloud and CI/CD environments. You will monitor system health and security, implement and maintain controls, and manage AWS infrastructure while building robust pipelines.

The role requires 2+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps, experience with AWS, and strong collaboration with development teams to ship secure, scalable applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevSecOps/DevOps roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and security using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and CI/CD environments.
• Manage AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, ECS, RDS, Route53, Lambda).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
• Develop scripts and tools (Bash, Groovy, etc.) to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate and deploy applications (Java, NodeJS, ReactJS).
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools.
• Provide Level 2 support and resolve production issues through root cause analysis.
• Maintain system documentation and continuously improve DevSecOps practices.
