Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) seeks a Securities Settlement Officer to assist clients in validating stock holdings and to handle queries on certificates, lodgments, and upliftments. The role includes processing uplifts and lodgments in BOSS and ECS systems within defined turnaround times.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance-related fields and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting walk in/by appointment clients in reviewing the validity of their stocks.
• Answering telephone/email queries on stock certificates, lodgment, and upliftment transactions.
• Processing of Upliftment Transactions (conversion of scripless shares to stock certificated shares) in BOSS system and ECS system in a specific turnaround time.
• Processing of Lodgment (conversion of stock certificates to scripless shares) Transactions in BOSS system and ECS system in a specific turnaround time.
• Serves as direct back-up to other co-employees within Securities Settlement Unit.
• Processing of Certification of Holdings and Bank Beneficial Ownership.
• Responsible in processing, safekeeping, and withdrawal of physical stock certificates in vault.
• Processing transfer of shares to heirs and consolidation of shares.
• Other duties that will be assign from time to time.
