Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned cloud operations professional to provide L2 support for Engineering Operations and ensure reliable production deployment across cloud environments. The role focuses on incident response, cross‑team collaboration, and keeping services running smoothly in production.

You will bridge application development teams with core cloud infrastructure, helping take products to production with scalable, observable systems, robust automation, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• AWS SA Associate/SysOps Associate certification or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and running cloud infrastructure, with scalability, failover, and observability.
• Build and maintain tools that automatically scan code, infrastructure, and applications for security flaws at every stage.
• Hands-on scripting automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Linux VMs and containers.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Terraform.
• AWS SA Pro/DevOps Pro certification or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes: CKA certification preferred.
• Hands-on Terraform in production environments.
• Hands-on infrastructure deployment via CI/CD pipelines/GitOps.
• Past or current experience with backend services.

Responsibilities

• Act as L2 support for Engineering Operations when incidents or issues occur.
• Acts as a bridge between application development teams and core cloud infrastructure and helps application development teams bring products and features to production.
