Job summary

LevelBlue seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and run cloud-native infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will automate deployments, promote best practices, and partner with Development, QA, and Operations to standardize service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on cloud experience, strong AWS knowledge, and expertise in Terraform, Packer, Puppet, and Kubernetes. Flexibility for hybrid work and on-call support is expected.

Qualifications

• >>4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience.
• >Strong experience with AWS native services at scale.
• >Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• >Experience with CI/CD tooling and GitHub Actions.
• >Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Bash/Python).

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote best practices in cloud-native architecture and deployment, automating with IaC.
• Evolve development guidelines for fast-moving service delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain immutable infrastructure workflows using Terraform, Packer, Puppet across AWS.
• Improve and support DevOps tools for CI, CD, automated testing, and self-service release management.
• Manage, maintain, and improve automated code deployment practices.
• Administer and maintain version control systems and repositories.
• Define and respond to data-driven metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development to codify coding standards, branching, and documentation.
• Work with Operations/QA/Development to define requirements for production platforms.
• Evaluate emerging build/deploy technologies and cloud-based development.
