Job summary

Unilever operates the BWPC Cavite site and is seeking a Section Lead to manage the section’s total operations, reporting to the BW-PC Sourcing Unit Manager. The role focuses on safety, quality, service, waste reduction and cost control to deliver reliable production in an onsite Cavite facility.

You will build agile systems, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement projects, including digitalization efforts, to reduce losses and improve efficiency across the line.

Qualifications

• Must understand and enforce SHE standards and GMPs.
• Ability to manage conflict while fostering an inclusive work environment.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, concepts, and regulations is preferred.
• Leadership experience in WCM/UMS, R2S is preferred.
• Clear understanding of how operating performance ties to financials and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure min 95% output reliability and best-in-class productivity.
• Build and develop agile work systems to empower autonomous teams.
• Coordinate all production activities in the plant through the section.
• Integrate UMS and R2S methodology and best-practices in the factory.
• Drive autonomous maintenance of equipment.
• Achieve production costs, OEE, waste targets for the section.
• Coach and train teams to build capability.
• Eliminate waste and loss using UMS tools and pillars.
